Poor Chiliboy

Sharks prop, Jannie du Plessis, is likely to replace brother Bismarck for the final tour test against England at Twickenham on Saturday. But that leaves just one question: What about Chiliboy Ralephele?

Bismarck left the field with a serious hamstring injury against Scotland at Murrayfield after just four minutes and has been sent home with Jannie being placed on standby. Captain John Smit is expected to pack down at hooker on Saturday with Brian Mujati promoted to the starting lineup at tighthead. The Boks have ! another hooker in the squad in Ralephele but he'll probably lose out to Jannie in the match 22 which seems a bit unfair.

Here you have a guy in who so much has been invested, on tour, taking part in all the practice sessions and yet he could lose out to a guy who hasn't played rugby since the Currie Cup final. Why then pick Ralephele to be part of the squad and not have any intention of playing him?

Same can be said for Earl Rose who has been watching the Boks play from the stands.

Jannie hasn't been called up to the squad yet but if he is, I think Ralephele can feel justifiably aggrieved.
