Federer, Nadal progress


Roger Federer is through to the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters, the world number one came back from 1-5 down to beat Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo who is currently ranked 132 in the world. Federer ended 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (7-1) a game which would have been one of great humiliation if he lost.

Rafael Nadal made easy work of beating Croatian Mario Ancic 6-0, 6-3. This was the third win for Nadal of four meetings with Ancic. The Spanaird is currently taking on his fellow countryman Juan Carlos Ferrero. The King of Clay is leading 6-4 in the first set.
