Nadal 'almost perfect'

After Rafael Nadal's fantastic performance against Andy Murray yesterday he has admitted his performance was 'near perfect'.

Nadal outclassed England's number one also ending any hope of a home player in the semi-finals. He showed his pure brilliance winning the first set 6-3 and the second set 6-2. Murray then put pressure on the world number two in third set but as usual Nadal showed his supremacy winning 6-4.

The Spaniard says he feels he is doing a lot of things better than last year, his slice and his position on the court have improved. He will face either Rainer Schuettler or Arnaud Clement in the semi-finals. Schuettler and Arnaud had a set each before rain intervened. They will finish their tie today.

Nadal is poised to meet Roger Federer in the final. Federer will do battle with Marat Safin. The towering Russian has never made it this far in the competition and will be hoping to dethrone five-time champion Federer.
